Recently there’s been an art exhibtion on Sherkin Island showcasing some of my photography. It finishes on the 10th of September There was a lovely opening evening.
During the Summer on Sherkin there are several exhibitions as the island is lucky to have a varied and wonderful selection of Artists.
The exhibition will now be featuring in the Taste of West Cork event where people can come and see artists at work in their studios and have a chat with the artists. My work will be in the hall with Brigid Madden. Here are some images so you can see whats happening. I’ve decided to put this work up for sale on the thewoolshop.ie website. In addition to being interested in island life and crafts i love taking photographs and then working with them to create photomontage images. Some photos get left as they are. These images are Alluminium Prints and are ready to hang. I also love grids and working with the combinations of images.
