Handmade baby shawl made in 4ply pure cotton.
Size approx 56ins, (142cm) square, delivered in a presentation box.
This magnificent piece of exquisite craftmanship is assembled from 9 individual handcrafted pieces, then grafted together to give a seamless finish. It takes up to 8 weeks to knit this very special distinctive piece of hand work.
The very fine, intricate lace design has been knitted by Gran McCann, a time served practitioner in the art of knitting.

This craft has passed to me from my grandmother and her fore bearers and is now a part of my children and my grandchilds life. I hope you fall in love with my handwork and that you in turn, will pass this shawl through your generations.
