Please note that all transactions will be carried out in Euro. We have included a currency conversion box on the site which is an indication of the conversion only. Your Bank and credit card provider will use their own currency rates and apply charges as per your agreement with them, The wool shop is not responsible for these currency rates and bank charges. Once you have placed your order, confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail complete with Transaction and Order Reference numbers. We will not be held responsible for pricing errors due to software malfunctions, or human error. Every effort is made to portray colours accurately. Due to monitors display characteristics, colours may appear differently so the colour you see may not exactly match the yarn you order.
We only display product available from our own stock and we work hard to make sure that these stocks are correct. If the items your ordered are out of stock we will advise you as soon as possible using the email address you provided when placing the order. We will offer you the choice to switch to comparable goods or a refund if you would rather not wait for the good to come into stock.
Your order: Orders received before 1.00pm are normally dispatched that day, provided it a working day. In exceptional circumstances orders could take up to 2 working days to dispatch. We may ship larger orders in more than one package without any extra charge. Deliveries in Ireland normally take between 1 to 3 working days, deliveries to England, Scotland and Wales normally take between 3 to 7 working days, deliveries to mainland Europe and the USA normally take between 4 to 10 working days. Please note that around holiday time deliveries can take longer. International orders may take up to 28 days. thewoolshop.ie does not accept liability for omissions or damage to deliveries unless notified in writing within 7 days of receipt of delivery.

In order to protect your details they will be passed on to a secure online payment gateway. https://www.paypal.com provide this service on our behalf. We collect only the basic personal details required to process your order. We do not store any customers financial or credit card details in any form. We will not trade, resell, sell, or redistribute information that you provide to us, to any other companies, organisations or individuals.

Returns Policy & Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a no fuss guarantee. However we will not be held responsible for any consequential loss however occurred. In accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive, you are entitled to return your order at any time within 7 days of receiving your goods. If you wish to return an order under these terms, first contact us by phone on +353(83)4549566 or email us on email@example.com and you will be issued with a returns number. Then return your products unopened and in re-saleable condition within 7 days returns number. The cost of returning goods will be borne by the customer. All goods returned will be subject to a handling fee of 15% of the sales price of the goods. We cannot accept liability for returned goods that are lost or damaged during transit. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery. We suggest that you send your package by recorded delivery, registered post or courier and to insure the goods. Refunds are not offered on patterns or pattern books. Refunds will be made by the original method of payment within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or within 7 days of a cancellation. Postage costs will not be refunded for orders cancelled after the goods have been shipped or for undelivered packages.
Certificates can be used to purchases any item from the wool shop site. Select any item or items including special offers on www.thewoolshop.ie . When the shopping cart is finalised enter the Gift Card code into the discount code box. If the order value is less than the Gift Card the wool shop will keep the credit balance on record for the next order. If the shopping basket has a greater value than the Gift Card the difference can be paid with a credit card or PayPal. Customers can monitor their Gift Card balance by becoming members of the Knitting Club. Once the customer is logged in they can click on “Check your Gift Card Balance” on the left hand side menu and follow the instructions to find the remaining value on their Gift Certificate. For accounting reasons Gift Certificates have a limited life. This life is approximately 18 months from the date of purchases and is shown on the email sent at the time of original purchase The life of a Gift Card can be extended by purchasing a new gift certificate using the remaining value on the old certificate before it expires. Gift Certificates will not be exchanged for cash and can only be used for goods on the wool shop web site.
